I've decided to figure out Zbrush so i can use it for organic modeling (e.g. heads).
The GUI is scary and confusing, but after getting more familiar with it i believe it actually works xD
I guess my next deviation probably will be something Zbrush related...

Photoshop Actions
Just made some Photoshop actions that creates frames for your images. It's a series that includes a whole bunch of different sets.
Only the first one adds text automatically, but you can manually add your own to the rest.
Set #1: Text
Set #2: Simple
Set #3: Double
Set #4: Filtered
Set #5: Shadow
Set #6: Soft fade
Set #X: Bonus
For those who wonder how to use a Photoshop action, it's as simple as double-clicking the action-file, and it will be added in your actions palette (window->actions). Now just select the desired action in the list and press the "play" button to run it on your image.

In addition to the resources uploaded to DA it contains tutorials (otherwise it's pretty much the same).

Hello, how is the weather in Norway? I always wonder how this zBrush thingy works, i tried it once (because i had seen all the great example), but i didn't have the patience to pull it through.
All of that scanning and 'make 3D models from photographs' is not working...
What if there were real "digital clay", with which you could play around all day, and if you liked it you could just save by syncing it with the PC ('USB' or 'Bluetooth'?). And then you could continue editing it in the PC and change the dough on your table. But then i never managed to make nice things with playdough. Do you know "Bluetack"? A sticky adhesive to fix posters on the wall, it a bit elastic, if you tear it apart and let it slip back, then it make beautiful sculptures. Like alien, old trees.
