Photoshop Actions

Mon Apr 6, 2009, 2:55 AM
Just made some Photoshop actions that creates frames for your images. It's a series that includes a whole bunch of different sets.
Only the first one adds text automatically, but you can manually add your own to the rest.

Set #1: Text
Set #2: Simple
Set #3: Double
Set #4: Filtered
Set #5: Shadow
Set #6: Soft fade
Set #X: Bonus

For those who wonder how to use a Photoshop action, it's as simple as double-clicking the action-file, and it will be added in your actions palette (window->actions). Now just select the desired action in the list and press the "play" button to run it on your image.

Devious Journal Entry

Free resources:

Thought it was time to refresh my journal since I just uploaded a new tutorial for Photoshop CS4: [link]
It's on the site where free resources I make will be collected.
In addition to the resources uploaded to DA it contains tutorials (otherwise it's pretty much the same).

If you have any comments or feedback on the resource page, post them back here on my profile :)
I take requests for more tutorials!

I have set up a new site where any free resources I make will be collected. It currently contains some Photoshop tutorials and my brushes here on DA.
The new address is http://resources.rognemedia.no (note: rognemedia.no seems to be blocked in China for no reason, please us a proxy to get access)

If you have any comments or feedback on the resource page, post them back here on my profile :)

Yes that's right! After such a long time I've finally gotten around to making two new quality brush sets!
One is monoprint textures - to add that hand crafted feel to your images. The second is footprint brushes to compliment my popular fingerprint brushes.

On the forum for the MA students at UCCA Epsom I have uploaded a couple of new tutorials.
Just want to share them with you as not many people read the forum there and I don't want my hours of print-screening to go to waste :P

Masking - Photoshop (all types of masks covered)
--This can be used to cut out stuff and place it on new backgrounds--

Making an animated GIF - Photoshop CS3 (cs2 mentioned)
--This can be used to make an animated profile picture--

Adjusting Curves/Levels - Photoshop CS3 (incl. link to CS2 tutorial)
--This can be used to fix colour/contrast in your pictures--

If you have any comments or feedback on them, post them back here on my profile :)
